You're listening to the my morning Devotional podcast, episode ten.
00:00:05.054 --> 00:00:08.353
Today's Devo is called a blessing of peace.
00:00:09.694 --> 00:00:27.897
Hey there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven.
00:00:28.045 --> 00:00:35.338
This is the my morning devotional podcast. Good morning, everybody, and happy Friday. Happy Friday.
00:00:35.426 --> 00:00:45.613
We made it. We made it to the end of the week. I hope that your week was amazing. I know mine has been, because my sister Lauren is killing the Devo game.
00:00:46.154 --> 00:01:29.427
Amazing. Love all that you're speaking on regarding peace. Again, my name is Stephanie Wena, and I think it was on Wednesday we gave a special shout out to our italian listeners. Yes. So today we heard that we have a massive fan base over in the Philippines. Yes. So this one goes out to our listeners in the Philippines. Send in your messages. We want to connect with you. Thank you so much for listening. Cause we love to hear that we're impacting people even on the other side of the world. So thanks for listening. And special shout out to Jaisal, who attends our church. She's from the Philippines. She's from the Philippines, and I just love her. So special shout out to Jaisal, one. Of the nicest, kindest cultures in the world, for sure.
00:01:29.516 --> 00:02:39.616
So thank you so much for your support. It's an honor. But, Lauren, a blessing of peace. Take it away. So this is actually, we've been talking about peace, which has been so, like, deep and just a deep well of peace this week. So I thought it'd be nice to sort of pray a blessing over everybody. And this is found in Hebrews 13. It's 20 through 21. And it says, now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us, that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Now, there's a lot here. There's, like, a lot. And this is. It's basically the writer of Hebrews is just pouring out everything, but then he goes, may this amazing God equip you with peace and equip you with all these good things. And I just pray that upon our listeners. I pray that upon us, too. I pray that upon Allen and Ashley, who we have the pleasure of working with when we record these, because we know this. God is a God of peace.
00:02:39.680 --> 00:03:15.895
God is a God of order. He does not want confusion or anxiety in our lives. He wants us to be children at peace. So let's break this down a little bit. May the God of peace, who brought again from the Lord from the dead, our Lord Jesus, so, the God of peace, who raised Christ from the dead, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will. Amen. Working in us, that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever.
00:03:16.000 --> 00:03:38.063
Amen. Amen. So, may the peace that surpasses all understanding be in you, our listeners. May they be in you, Stephanie, as you raise your children, as stressful as it may be. Thank you. May it follow you. May it be in me as I walk out my life. And, of course, may it follow our listeners as they have followed along this journey of such a great week. Amen. Yeah.
00:03:38.104 --> 00:03:40.963
And may it all be done for the glory of Jesus Christ.
00:03:41.943 --> 00:03:45.424
So there you have it. Your five minute daily dose of heaven.
00:03:45.544 --> 00:04:02.783
