You're listening to the My Morning Devotional podcast, episode 1171. Today's Devo is called A Crown of Abundance. Hey there. We're the Alessi's, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time.

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:47.155
That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional Podcast. Good morning, everybody. Happy Monday. I hope you recognize my voice. This is Alison. I am going to be leading us in prayer over the next week. Two weeks actually. I'm going to be here with you guys kicking off the new year. If you don't know who I am, I am the founding member.

00:00:47.228 --> 00:01:34.959
I was with My Morning Devo, started it in my closet, moved it into a small studio in my room and I it just continued going for almost four years. It was three and a half years, 950 episodes. And then I decided to hand over this baby of mine to my church family. And the girls have taken it and run with it. And I am so honored to see the fruits of this podcast continue to go forward. So there's a lot that's happened in my life in the last year. I know a lot of you continue to keep up with me online, but I just wanted to say hi and let's jump into today's Devo. So today we're reading out of Psalm chapter 65, verse 11. It says, you crown the year with your bounty. The tracks of your chariot overflow with richness.

00:01:35.299 --> 00:02:35.325
In another version, it says, you crown the year with your bounty and your carts overflow with abundance. So I label today's Devo a crown of abundance. Because we are kicking off this new year. Today is the 30th and tomorrow we're all going to celebrate the new year. Maybe you have some plans with fireworks. I'm going to be actually at Epcot. You guys know I'm a Disney fan, so I'm going to be out there. But it is the season in which this week will probably continue to continue with the festivities. But next week we get pretty serious with the new year. We get serious with our goals that we have, with the vision that God has planted in our hearts. And I just wanted to encourage everybody that God, he gives you a crown of abundance. He gives gives us all a crown of abundance. And not every year looks the same. We know that some years are better than others. And I pray that this next year is fruitful for you. I pray that you have a beautiful year ahead of you.

00:02:35.478 --> 00:02:42.894
But whatever comes your way, I want you to have that thought process that God gave you, a crown of abundance.

00:02:43.021 --> 00:03:37.581
And in these next months, as you continue to push ahead, you just keep that posture of abundance on you. Look for God's fingerprints everywhere in your life. And you're gonna see him. You're gonna see him turn up at work, you're gonna see him at home, you're gonna see him in your kids, you're gonna see him in your spouse. You're going to see him with your roommates in college. Wherever you are, in whatever season of life you live, he is there. He is giving you everything you need to conquer this day and the days ahead. So let's end in prayer. Prayer Father God, we thank you Lord, for this Monday. We thank you for this week and this new year. We thank you for everything that happened in 2024, God, but we are looking forward to 2025. We thank you that you have blessed us. We thank you that you know the plans for us. We thank you that we are obedient in those. And we thank you that in it all, it is an overflow of abundance.

00:03:37.725 --> 00:03:48.819
So we just thank you for that. We bask in your glory. We bask in your goodness. And we are so ready for 2025. It is in your Son's holy name that we pray today and every day.

00:03:48.939 --> 00:04:10.539
Amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today. We pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day.
