You're listening to the my morning Devotional podcast, episode 1108. Today's devote is called acts of God. He sees you. Hey, there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the my morning devotional podcast. Good morning, everybody. My name is Stephanie, and we are now on day three of our acts of God series, which is talking about God's actions. On Monday. I talked about how he hears you. Yesterday I talked about how he speaks to you.

00:00:47.020 --> 00:01:05.462
Well, today I want to dive into how he sees you. Gosh, God is so good to us. I just have to say that he is so good to us because now, looking at how active God is in his relationship with us, he just doesn't fail us.

00:01:05.605 --> 00:01:20.250
He's not going to fail you today. He hears you, he speaks to you, and he sees you. And it's so easy to feel failed by people. But God never fails us. He never disappoints us.

00:01:20.560 --> 00:02:17.622
He does what all the. What we wish all of our friends could do, what we wish the perfect friend could do. That's who God is. He really is the perfect friend for us. And I'm just overwhelmed, because reading the word of God about how he sees us, it's everywhere. In two chronicles 16 nine in the Niv, it says, for the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. Guys, no matter where you are today, God sees you. It doesn't matter what country you live in, doesn't matter what kind of neighborhood you live in, doesn't matter where you work, it doesn't matter what state of situation you're in. You could be so far from God today, and you've probably just stumbled upon this devotional, or somebody just sent it to you out of the blue and you feel so far from the Lord.

00:02:17.806 --> 00:03:03.211
Well, I have good news for you. God sees you. He has been seeing you. You have not been lost to the eyes of God. He knows where you're at, and he loves you, and he's watching you. One Peter 312 in the ESV says, for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. Psalm 30 415. ESV says, the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry. What a privilege to have a relationship with a God who sees us everywhere that we go. He protects you. He's watching out for you. Here's something even more beautiful. He's protecting your children. He's watching your children. He sees your children.

00:03:03.395 --> 00:03:07.000
He's protecting your parents. He watches your parents.

00:03:07.460 --> 00:03:10.991
He sees everyone everywhere that they go.

00:03:11.175 --> 00:03:44.270
And if you feel today that you have not been seen, if you feel today that you are so far from God that you haven't prayed to him in years, you haven't picked up the Bible and read from the Bible in years, God has seen you. He sees you right now and he loves you and he wants a relationship with you. He wants to continue his relationship with you. Be confident that no matter where you go today, God is watching you and he protects you and he loves you.

00:03:44.650 --> 00:04:21.240
He sees you for who you are, not for what you've made yourself to be. He sees you for who you are, not for how you portray yourself in front of your friends. He sees you for who you are and he loves you for who you are, for who you were born to be. For who he created you to be. If you were born a son of God, he sees you as a son of God. If you were born a daughter of God, he sees you as a daughter of God, and he loves you. Let me pray with you today.

00:04:21.779 --> 00:04:28.600
God, we sometimes don't feel seen, even though we are surrounded by people.

00:04:29.290 --> 00:05:21.862
But we are confident today that you see us, you walk with us and you speak to us and you hear us. And we thank you for that. So right now, God, we want to have a relationship with you. Where we feel seen, we feel that love, we feel that grace. So, God, we thank you for the grace you give to us. And right now, if you feel like you want to start that relationship with Jesus, ask him into your heart this morning. If you feel like you want to restart that relationship or you want to continue that relationship, ask Jesus into your heart and make him the Lord and savior of your life. And for those that are already walking with him, God, we pray that when we thank you for seeing us in every situation that we're in, we can walk in confidence and boldness, that you see us wherever you go.

00:05:22.045 --> 00:05:24.410
And in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

00:05:26.069 --> 00:05:29.533
So there you have it. Your five minute daily dose of heaven.

00:05:29.661 --> 00:05:40.822
