In this episode, we highlight the importance of meditating on God's word day and night. How true blessings come from aligning our thoughts with scripture, rather than relying on fleeting social media inspirations. We encourage you to take a few moments today to reflect on Psalm 1:1-2. Let it resonate in your heart and mind throughout your day, helping you find peace and strength in God's promises.

You're listening to the my morning Devotional podcast, episode 1033. And today's Devo is called All Night Long. Hey, there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida.

00:00:14.246 --> 00:00:29.306
And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the my morning devotional podcast.

00:00:29.489 --> 00:01:42.313
Good morning, everyone. My name is Stephanie, and thank you so much for tuning in. We have a very fun Lionel Richie themed podcast today from our very own Rochelle Alessi. So, Rochelle, take it away. Let's do it. So, today's verse, it's psalms one, one through two. And it says, blessed is the one who does not walk in the step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of the mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord and whose meditates on it day and night. And that is where we got the title, all night long. But I love this verse because it really just builds on everything that we've been talking about this week. And yesterday, we hit a little bit about, no matter your surroundings, you can still guard your heart by thinking pure thoughts. And this verse is telling us that we are blessed when we do that, when we think the right things, and when we meditate on God's word every day. And this just builds on it, and it's saying, you know, today I'm gonna wake up, and I'm going to meditate on God's word all day and all night long.

00:01:42.774 --> 00:01:53.688
And that is what's going to help me continue to guard my heart. It's not going to be the Pinterest quote. It's not gonna be the Instagram reel of a pastor, even if it's an amazing sermon.

00:01:53.775 --> 00:02:26.295
Yeah. But what's going to truly guard my heart and what's gonna help me is gonna be me meditating on God's word. Yeah. And that might be today just thinking of this verse all day long and waking up tomorrow and thinking of another verse all day long. Yeah. And before I go to sleep, I pray with this verse. And I continue to do that all day when I'm just constantly thinking of God's word. And when that hard moment comes, I think of this verse, and my reaction is not why.

00:02:26.439 --> 00:02:44.312
Or again, my reaction is this verse. I'm going to meditate on God's word, and I'm just going to continue to do that until I feel better. And so it's very simple. But we are blessed. And the Bible says that we are going to be blessed when we don't do what everybody else is doing.

00:02:44.448 --> 00:02:52.048
But we meditate on God's word because that's truly when the change comes for our life. Awesome. Great job, Rochelle. Can you pray us out?

00:02:52.096 --> 00:03:18.366
Yes. Let's do it. Dear Father God, thank you. Because you have given us your word, we get to not just get through every day, God, but conquer every day and win every day, because we have your word. And your word is truth, and your word is everything that we need. So thank you, Lord, for giving us that so we can win every single day. Amen. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. So there you have it.

00:03:18.430 --> 00:03:38.133
