Just what does confidence in God mean?
Is it just a feeling? Or is it something more?
When you look at the definition of confidence, it's not a feeling. It's a commitment of trust into someone or something.
That means true confidence isn't just about feeling self-assured; it's about having a rock-solid trust in God. It's understanding that our confidence is anchored in God's unwavering support and guidance, not in our own abilities or fleeting emotions.
The Bible reminds us in Hebrews 10:35 not to give up on our confidence, as it brings a rich reward. We are instead reminded to keep enduring and staying faithful to God's plan. That trust in God's unshakeable faithfulness empowers us to navigate through life's ups and downs, regardless of our ever-changing feelings.
Confidence and trust go beyond mere feelings; they call for intentional choices and actions. It's about actively showing our trust in God through what we do and how we live. This is the dynamic nature of faith, blending what we believe with how we live it out day to day.
You see, nurturing a deep sense of confidence and trust involves more than just inner beliefs. It calls for our faith to come alive in our actions. Embracing confidence and trust as active choices has the potential to really change the way we live out our faith.
So, as we keep journeying, let's hold on to our trust in God, and let our confidence in Him shine through in everything we do.
Here's to nurturing an unshakeable confidence in God's plan and living out our trust in His faithfulness, letting our faith infuse every moment of our lives.
