00:00:04.320 --> 00:00:33.890
Today's Devo is called goals for 2025 worship. Hey there. We're the Alessies, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional podcast. All right, guys, we have made it to the end of the week.

00:00:34.009 --> 00:01:10.075
My name is Stephanie and I'm just so glad that you guys are tuning in today. Whether it's your first time ever listening to this or you've been listening every single morning, we are in love with sharing what, how the Word has impacted us and what we are even processing and our relationship with Jesus. So I'm glad you've tuned in. We are going to finish our goals for 2025 series today with our final goal, our fifth goal, and that is worship. And it's actually downloading Metro Life Worship's worship and making it a part of your daily routine.

00:01:10.188 --> 00:01:13.852
That is your goal for 2025, to listen to worship on a

00:01:13.876 --> 00:01:29.010
16 says this the seventh time, as the priest blew a long, loud trumpet blast, Joshua yelled to the people, shout, the Lord has given us the city.

00:01:29.310 --> 00:02:03.900
So this was after the Israelites marched seven times around the city of Jericho. When they were done marching, God told them to shout and to play trumpets. And that is when the walls fell. Trumpets, symbols of worship and celebration. They played a significant role in the victory because when the priests blew the trumpets and the people shouted, which is a form of worship, that was when the walls fell. When a shout goes up, God's power comes down.

00:02:04.200 --> 00:02:26.681
Those walls were completely crushed in the ground because that is when the Israelites lifted a shout to God. You know, in worship, whether it's alone in your house, in your car, or even at church, too often we can make it about the music. Whether we like the song or we don't like the song, whether we can sing or we cannot sing.

00:02:26.866 --> 00:02:48.800
But really worship, it's about our love and it's our adoration to God. I don't know if you know this, but worship is like my thing. I'm a singer. I lead a worship team at my church. I write music under Metro Life Worship and I put out worship songs because I absolutely love what worship can do to you and your situation.

00:02:49.300 --> 00:02:52.475
I love writing songs for the church specifically.

00:02:52.668 --> 00:03:07.126
Because I've seen people be in the worst situations, in the worst mindsets. And they come to church on a Sunday morning and they hear the music, they hear the worship. And in four minutes. Cause that's usually how long the song is.

00:03:07.277 --> 00:03:33.665
Their whole perspective changes. Because worship can take your eyes off the problem and puts it on Jesus. You know, when I was nine months pregnant with my first baby, Gianna, we went to a concert. It was a Bruno Mars concert. And I stood for that entire concert. At nine months pregnant, the entire time.

00:03:33.818 --> 00:04:13.991
I sang every single word to every single song. But when I came home, I was too tired to stand up during worship at church and I didn't want to participate. Not because I didn't want to worship, but because I was tired. But I felt so convicted because I just went to a Bruno Mars concert and I wasn't tired enough to sing all those songs. That's when the Lord told me that I was capable of worshiping him in any circumstance. Know this Worship and praise can be powerful spiritual tools in overcoming challenges. It's not just about music.

00:04:14.175 --> 00:04:21.576
It's not just about the songs. It's about overcoming our challenges through worshiping God.

00:04:21.767 --> 00:04:43.625
If you have a terrible voice, if you don't like the song, who cares? This is about Jesus. It's about overcoming these challenges and it's about lifting up the king of kings. So here's your final goal for 2025. Download worship songs and listen to those songs every day.

00:04:43.778 --> 00:05:09.637
Worship every day and make it a part of your daily routine. This 2025, look up Metro Life Worship specifically the song Victorious. That'll make you feel victorious in your day. Look up God of purpose. God of purpose will make you remind you that there's a purpose for your life. Look up the song, the standard. It's going to remind you that God is greater than any power on this earth.

00:05:09.733 --> 00:06:20.002
Look up the song Earthquaking. That's going to raise your faith no matter what situation you're in. Just make worship a part of your daily routine and see how it changes your situations. Let's pray. God, even right now, no matter where we are, we lift up your name. We thank you for this life. We thank you for the very breath in our lungs and God, even if we can't sing, we lift up your voice, we sing to you, we clap to you, we dance to you and we worship. And just like the walls fell in Jericho to the sound of their shout, so will our challenges fall to the sound of our worship. We pray right now that disappointment falls, that shame falls, that sin falls to the sound of our worship and we lift up your name, King of Kings, Lord of Lord Jesus Christ, our our Savior, Our Father, our friend. We glorify you in all that we do. And I pray that throughout our day worship just becomes a part of our routine. And we thank you Jesus and in Jesus name we all pray.

00:06:20.065 --> 00:06:38.492
Amen and Amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today. We pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day. If you found value in this devotional, share it with a friend, Leave a comment or review for us on the app you're using right now.

00:06:38.596 --> 00:06:43.259
Until tomorrow. We pray that your latte is strong, but your love for Jesus is stronger.
