Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Jeremiah 31:3 which says "the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."
"Today’s devotional was prompted from the thought, “I am Loved”. It’s an affirmation I like to repeat often. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed in our season that we feel inadequate or as if we aren’t good enough for where God has us,.
Maybe you are in school, or maybe you are helping raise your children’s children. Our ages may differ but the feeling of inadequacy can paralyze us at anytime.
This verse is saying that he has loved us with an everlasting love. One that transcends age, experience, or adequacy. He is faithful. We are loved.
The Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. It says we are a new creation in Christ. It says that He so loved the world He gave is only son. It says, we are loved unconditionally. So on this Tuesday I am going to choose to bask in the love God grants us. I am going to sit in His faithfulness. I am going to put on the posture of gratitude and I hope that you do too.
Repeat after me, I am Loved. I am Loved. I am Loved. Boys, this is for you too. Repeat after me, I am loved."
