Jehovah Nissi - The Lord is My Banner

This is Episode 444 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast 

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Exodus 17:15  which says " Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner."

"When I think of Jehovah Nissi, I think of the parade of pots and pans. Imagine if an entire city took to the streets and made all of the noise possible to celebrate Jesus in their life. 

It’s not socially acceptable, but man I wish it was. The lord is our banner. I wish we could all scream at the top of our lungs for anyone and everyone to hear. May everyone know what team we support. May everyone see the banner of Christ in our life and know that He has done a work in us and for us. May they see the fruit of our lives and know it was all because of Jesus. 

I know we can’t all hit our posts and pans, but we can extend his love. We can wear him as a banner over our hearts and serve His people so they may know Him. :"
