Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of 2 Timothy 4:7 which says "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
"Finishing the race, it means a lot. We just established that this life is not easy. We know there will be heartache, but I pray we still finish the race. It gives us a clear picture on how to do so. It says “I have kept the faith”.
Guys, faith is the one thing that will keep us going. It’s like solar panels that can charge a building. We get charged through the light of Jesus and it fuels us in the dark. How many of you know Solar Panel technology is amazing. The sun doesn’t have to be out in the middle of the night for the panels to fuel a home. In the same way, you can be in a dark season, but your faith that is charged by the light of Jesus can keep your house fueled.
My prayer today is that we understand how truly vital faith is. Faith is hope in things we cannot see. Faith is knowing God is for us, when when we can’t see Him with our physical eyes, Faith allows us to feel His very presence."
