Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Isaiah 4:6 which says "It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain."
"Today we pray for Louisiana and all those in the path of Hurricane Ida. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate the aftermath of this horrific storm.
Storms appear in our lives, literally and figuratively. Sometimes we can plan for them, other times they surprise us and unexpectedly run havoc on our lives.
God’s grace will always be a shelter for us. He is a refuge and a hiding place from storms. He is there when we think we are alone, He is there when we need Him most, and He is there when we think we can handle it on our own - and no matter how many times we have to learn this lesson, we need Him at all times..."
