Verse of the Day:
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
2 Peter 3:8
"There is nothing more true than the verse above, a day can sometimes fee like a thousand years, you count the moments for class to be over. You set the GPS for your daily commute and it says 60 mins, and you think wow I have to drive a full hour to get to the office and then another one back.
Time can go by so slow, but yet so fast.
We know from here on out the year flies, before you know it, Starbucks will be selling pumpkin spiced lattes and it will be time to carve our pumpkins. You’’l blink and eye and it will be thanksgiving and by then your Christmas lights will be out of the attic and ready to be hung.
If there is absolutely anything in this life that I have learned is that we as people spend too much time thinking about the past and worried about the future rather than staying present in prayer.
My prayer is that we all have a productive fall. One full of moments with Jesus. One full of present fun filled memories with our families. The only way we can accomplish this is by being intentional about our times of prayer and our time with those we love the most.
Put away the phone, and prepare for fall. Set your new routines and make Jesus a priority. This can be our best fall yet. "
