Sow Goodness, Reap Goodness

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Galatians 6:8 which says "Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

"Nothing good comes out leaning onto your flesh. Nothing good comes from selfishness. Nothing good comes out of vanity.

The second part to this verse says it all, whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

If you’re wondering what pleasing the spirit looks like, look to the fruit of the spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 says 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Today all you have to do is meditate on such things. Sow good seed and watch how your harvest will shine. 

Sow goodness, sow love, sow joy, and peace and kindness and faithfulness. You have the self-control to reframe from your selfish ways. Eternal life is so much greater than anything your flesh can provide.
