Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Hebrews 3:4 which says "For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God"
"This verse just stopped me in my reading and I wanted to stay here for a little while, just really meditate on that. God is the builder of all things. It was such a perfect verse for today’s prayer.
Together we celebrate consistent prayer. I don’t care if you started praying with us last week or back when I started this podcast in June, we’ve all been praying for sometime now. If today is your first day, I encourage you to keep tuning in.
When I look at this community I am thankful. Thankful because I know who the builder is. It’s not me, I am no one. But Jesus uses us all to build His story. We all play a role, if you see it or not. Everyday you come into contact with people and you have the ability to become the hands and feet of Jesus right where you find yourself. It’s a blessing to be able to do life with Him, and it’s a blessing to be able to do life with this community.
I am eager to grow deeper in my faith, and I am honored you have joined me on the journey.
As you go about your day today, look at the things around you. He is the builder of all things. Your home, your relationships, your careers. If any of these things feel as if they go in the opposite direction of God’s will, then maybe you forced a door on a pillar of your life in which a door was not intended. Interior designers need permits to reconstruct walls, don’t start building doors when they aren’t first approved by the architect."
