You're listening to the My Morning Devotional podcast, episode 1172. Today's Devo is called the Plans he has for your. Hey there. We're the Alessies, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time.

00:00:21.664 --> 00:01:57.230
That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional Podcast. Good morning, everybody. Happy Tuesday. Welcome back to another episode of the My Morning Devotional Podcast. My name is Allison and I'm one of the founding members, or I am the founding member and one of the hosts of My Morning Devotional Podcast. So happy to be here this week with you and next week as we kick off 2025, I recognize that a lot of you may not know me and I also recognize a lot of you have been with me since day one. So I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on my life and I'm to be doing a little bit of that here and there throughout the next two weeks so that you can hear where I've been and what I've been up to. But I left the show in the hands of the Alessi because I was going through a very tough season. I had just walked through a miscarriage and it was a time in my life that I had to buckle down and get serious in my prayer life, one on one with God rather than continuing to broadcast my prayers with other people. And you guys were so gracious to me in that transition and it has resulted in a beautiful, flourishing community. And I had a rough year year. I had another loss. But God blessed us in the last quarter of the year and Today I am 20 weeks pregnant with our baby Curl on the way. So that makes me emotional. And I'm going to continue reading. We're going to be in Jeremiah today, chapter 29, verse 11. And it says for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

00:01:58.030 --> 00:02:12.949
And I label today's depot the plans that God has for you because we don't know them ever. We don't know what tomorrow holds. We don't know what today holds. And today is New Year's Eve, so we don't know what next year holds. But God knows the plans that he has for you.

00:02:13.069 --> 00:03:00.981
And I just look at my life over the last year. I would have Never imagined that the show would have continued to flourish after I decided to let it go last Christmas. And I'm so happy that you guys continue to have an outlet to listen to scripture every morning. I would have never imagined the blessing that God would have granted us something we prayed for, but I couldn't actually see it. And now that I'm walking through it, you can look back and say that God is good. So he's always been good. He's always good. And we don't know what 2025 holds for us individually, but God does. And I think trust and trust in him is the key there. We're going to talk about trust in the coming days, but I just wanted to give you guys a little bit of encouragement as this year comes to an end.

00:03:01.086 --> 00:03:22.514
Maybe this wasn't an easy year for you. Maybe you're going through a similar journey that I went through. Whatever your circumstance, God has plans for you. And you just have to believe that. You have to trust it because his plans are greater than you can ever imagine. And he really, truly is a good God. So just end this year with a posture of gratitude.

00:03:22.641 --> 00:04:53.329
Reflect on the good things that happened. Reflect on the things that may not have been so easy to walk through and realize how you got through it with the grace of God. And then prepare your heart for 2025. Because there are great things ahead of you. There are great seasons, there are great days. Your best days haven't been lived yet. The people who will love you, you may not even have met them yet. That's what someone once told me. And I can only imagine that my baby girl is going to love me more than I can even imagine. And I haven't even held her yet. So there are people in this life that God has planned for you that you haven't met yet. There are things that he has planned for you that you haven't walked through yet. And there are dreams that he has for you that he hasn't given you yet. Or maybe he's giving you the dream and this year he's going to open the door. So whatever it is, 2025 is going to be a great year. So I hope that you celebrate that tonight with your loved ones. And I will see you in the morning. So let's end in prayer. Father God, Lord, we thank you for 2024. We thank you for the ups and the downs, but we thank you that you're through. Your grace. You walk with us every single day. God, we thank you for 2025. We know that you have plans for us. We are so excited to see them. We are so excited to dream them. We are so excited to walk through them. So we thank you for it all. We love you so much. We pray this in your Son's mighty name today and every day. Amen.

00:04:54.230 --> 00:05:15.069
