You're listening to the my Morning Devotional podcast, episode 1060.

00:00:04.134 --> 00:00:07.650
Today's Devo is called work to be rewarded.

00:00:08.550 --> 00:00:26.742
Hey there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven.

00:00:26.885 --> 00:01:28.739
This is the my morning Devotional podcast. Well, we've made it to Friday. Thank God we are here. And, Gabby, you have done a phenomenal job with the podcast this week. And listen, listeners, we read your comments. We see your messages. Thank you so much for following us and for communicating with us. We love to hear your feedback, and we love to see you even engaged with our podcast and our devotionals. And let me just remind you, follow us on socials, follow all of us individually so we can stay in contact with you, but keep up with our morning devotional podcast. Cause we are always doing new things. Well, Gabby, start us off, take it away, and finish us strong. Yes. So this one is just kind of recapping all week, and I just kind of want to speak this over you and over every person that's listening. Second chronicles 15 seven. But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

00:01:29.079 --> 00:01:39.944
Steph, you were talking about it last week, just about the different seasons of people's lives. And I think it's. I think it's incredible, as a listener to know that us, as sisters, we are all at different seasons.

00:01:40.111 --> 00:01:43.340
You are in the season of marriage and motherhood.

00:01:43.719 --> 00:02:23.490
Rochelle's in that season as well. Lauren and I are in that singlehood, trying to find a person season where we're kind of in that waiting season of it all. And it's easy, whatever season that you're in, to believe the effort that you're putting in the mindset that you have, your, uh, your perspective or the work that you're doing. It's easy to believe that we're doing those things in vain. It's. It's easy to think that this. The work we put in, will never be rewarded to us. Yeah. And I feel like this is a great reminder for all of us that, as for you, be strong and don't give up. There's a reward in the end.

00:02:23.949 --> 00:02:53.002
You will be rewarded in whatever way it is. And I just hope this challenges you today, but it also comforts you as we finish off this week. You might have had a really hard work week. Not every work week is incredible. Not every day we walk into work ready to conquer the day. Not every week you're watching your babies as a stay at home mom is the greatest feeling in the world. Sometimes you're like, I'm ready to go on vacation. Someone get these babies. Yeah, but just remember, stay strong. Don't give up. Your work's going to be rewarded.

00:02:53.105 --> 00:03:47.521
There's going to be a day that you look back on today, you look back on this week, and you go, God, I thank you for that week. I thank you because I'm reaping the harvest of that work today. I'm living in the harvest of what those seeds planted. And so don't give up. Don't throw your hands up and go, I'm done. Don't give up on your kids. Don't give up on your marriage. Don't give up on your job. Don't give up on your church. There's a lot of voices telling us about church hurt and church problems. Don't give up on your church. Keep on serving even if you feel like they're not taking you or if you feel like they're taking you for granted. Don't give up on your church because there's a reward, and you might have it in this life, you might have it right now, in the next couple of years, or you might receive that reward in heaven. But there's a reward coming to you. So don't give up. Stand firm. Stand strong.

00:03:47.705 --> 00:03:55.250
And when that reward comes, you're going to be so grateful for the seasons that you're in right now. Amen. That's amazing. Gabs, can you pray us out?

00:03:55.370 --> 00:04:39.562
Of course. Lord, we thank you for today, God, you know, we just even thank you for the hard times. We thank you for the hustle season. Like steph talked about last week, that even when it's difficult, Lord, you've given us everything, everything we need to conquer, to fight, Lord, to take authority, to take dominion over everything in our lives. God, you've given us the tools to work hard. And so I just pray over everybody that's listening that you would help them get through today, that they would stand strong, they would be strong. They wouldn't give up, because their work will be rewarded, whether it's here on earth or it's in heaven. And we thank you for it. In Jesus name, amen. Amen. So there you have it. Your five minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today.
